Miss 3 has already totally trashed the playroom I spent all weekend cleaning |
|
I broke a nail cleaning it up again |
|
Something has died in my fridge (and it's not last night's lasagne) so guess what else I have to clean today? |
|
But it's all ok because I'm escaping outside for a while to drink this. |
I'm linking up with Trish at My Little Drummer Boys for
Wordless Wednesday. Her pic today is totally awesome and would go so well with my coffee right now. Make sure you head on over to see all the other fabulous pics this week.
Oh, can you make me one too, please! I wish I had a cleaning fairy who would clean up Ella's room every day. I'm only cleaning it on a Monday now and within five minutes of her being home, it's trashed again! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain with the toy room, and I definitely need one of those coffees!
ReplyDeleteThe look o your girl's face says it all, lol! Damn a broken nail - i hate when that happens! Yay for real coffee (drink one and think of me!)...
ReplyDeleteOh dear....we have way too much in common lol....both red heads, both have 4 kids, both have good and bad mummy days and both have a love of black polka dots with ribbons (check out my blog hahahaha). This morning I rolled up a complete roll of toilet paper that had been unrolled and dragged around my bedroom by my 3 year old. I feel your pain. Happy WW! (and Im now following you to see what else we have in common :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha I can sooo sympathise with you on the kids trashing your amazingly clean toy room! I have just spent a couple of hours cleaning up the whole house B6 decided was going to house all his toys in every room! And I broke a nail too!!!
ReplyDeleteMmmm and I def could go a cuppa now... off to make one lol
Happy WW! xx
@Kellie @ Three Li'l Princesses
ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean. Kids just don't get it, do they?
@Kate @ Puddles and Gumboots
ReplyDeleteThe coffee was great, wish it was a bottomless cup :)
@Sif
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it. She knew she'd made me cranky.
@Eloise
ReplyDeleteClearly we both have great taste LOL. Been there with the toilet paper. Funny how when everyone uses it, it never seems to last, but unroll the whole damn thing and it goes on FOREVER.
@Miss Cinders
ReplyDeleteI hate broken nails so much. Enjoy your cuppa :)
Oh dear, why do we bother tidying up? It's such a brief thing. Never mind... the coffee looks very excellent and I'm sure you really enjoyed it, every sip.
ReplyDeleteMy whole house looks like the play room! i just do one clean up now at the end of the day and try to get the little ones to help out too!
ReplyDeletehappy ww! x
MMM, coffee fixes so much doesn't it? Happy W.W, hope you find that serenity soon ;-)
ReplyDelete@Seana Smith
ReplyDeleteOh I did, thanks!! LOL
@jody
ReplyDeleteWell I normally do, but the playroom after a while just ends up a big jumbled mess. I actually had my parents look after my kids for the whole weekend at their house just so I could clean/sort/throw out all the darn toys!
@skyelee
ReplyDeleteI'm slowly getting there!
Oh Oh. I must say I understand...we have our two grandchildren (3 and 1) twice a week here...and I feel like getting a broom or rake out to clean up sometimes...mostly now, I have things boxed, and only get out a few boxes at a time... Denyse
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of Miss 3. My little man is only 10 months - but equally skilled enough to make a huge mess in a short space of time :)
ReplyDeleteI think all these pics are telling you to NOT clean... ;-)
ReplyDeleteahhh coffee the sanity keeper of most housewives ;) your daughter looks so guilty lol!
ReplyDeleteOh no! The same thing happens to our toy room every time! And I can't just close the door and walk away as we use our formal lounge area as a toy space... there is no door, but I have considered putting on there!
ReplyDeleteBugger on the broken nail! Hope you enjoyed your coffee.
